About Emandulo

Emandulo is an independent story universe bringing Zulu mythology into short performance-led videos, interactive chapters, and shareable character lore.

Its purpose is larger than a screen. In partnership with Dominion Aftercare, Emandulo aims to help Alexandra youth build practical digital storytelling skills, create portfolios, and become early makers within the universe.

By connecting audiences, a novel, community creativity, and future film and television possibilities, Emandulo offers living proof that locally rooted African stories can travel without losing where they come from.
